MicroLipo
Nakedhealth MEDISPA is registered with the Care Quality Commission and offers a minor surgery service including MicroLipo. This uses the traditional Liposuction technique but applies it to small areas of the body, ie the chin and jawline.
Many of us have stubborn pockets of fat on our inner thighs, arms, chins and knees that simply won’t shift through diet or exercise. Microliposuction is a minimally invasive liposuction, fat removal and body sculpting procedure to improve your body’s contour.
MicroLipo gets its name from the tiny size of the cannulas used to extract the fat, which can be between just 0.9mm and 3mm wide. The technique can remove up to 3.5 litres of fat. The procedure is carried out by Plastic Surgeon, David Gateley, who has many years experience performing liposuction.
Lipoedema
The Microlipo procedure is used to help manage the lipoedema condition and ease the strain on day-to-day activities. Microlipo is a very gentle way to remove excess fat cells from the treatment area.
All minor surgical procedures are conducted in our state-of-the-art minor ops room. David Gateley, Consultant Plastic Surgeon will deliver this innovative care in a safe environment within a governance framework as stipulated by NHS England and in line with the CQC registration. All surgical wounds will be managed by the professional medical team.
